Outdoor Classes for 2017 have ended.  Please check back in late Spring 2018 for new signups.

Hills & Hazards Outdoor Classes: We will meet at Crossroads park. Once you pre-register you will be emailed the exact location. (If you register late, please contact Trish via phone/text. See at the bottom of any web page for contact information). You will learn how to skate curbs, chunky cement, wheel chair ramps, inclines/declines and hills. Pre-requisite: must be able to use heel brake well and/or T-stop/Toe-stop correctly. Also, Level 3 and above, kids & adults are welcome.  Price is “Drop-in” of $24. Class last 75 minutes.

Cancellation:  In case of inclement weather, the class will be cancelled. Please contact Trish at the number below if the weather is suspect.  The class will be determined by 3pm the day of the class per registrations and/or weather.  Package classes will be returned to accounts and payments will be refunded if cancelled.

Minimum:  We will need a minimum of 4 students to pre-register in order to hold the class. So don’t delay, sign up and let’s go skate!


 

Trail Classes: Meet at Cost Plus World Market in Redmond at 6:30 pm when the weather allows.  Class will run for one hour.  To sign up for the class, please click the button below.This link  Cost Plus Store  is a map of our meeting place, south of Redmond Town Center. It’s just off of Bear Creek Parkway. The map points to the larger parking lot. Cost plus is actually the L-shaped building, and we are SW of the marker at the SW edge of the L-shaped building.

Who:   For all adult skaters Level 3 and above who are fairly adept with their brake.  For all Kids at Level 4/5.

When:   6:30-7:30 on Wednesdays (weather permitting)

Cost:  “Drop-in” price of $24.

Where:  Meet at Cost Plus World Market south of Redmond Town Center.

What:   Learn to skate the trails and over hazards, the trail stride for your level, and the proper etiquette to share the road. Advanced skaters will learn how to create more power and efficiency in your striding.  Newer skaters will learn basic trail striding and proper form (why you should not be swinging your arms and other helpful hints).

What else:   Bring a water bottle. No bathrooms, so plan accordingly.
