Should we be rained out, we have scheduled September 29th, 2024, for make-up.

Join us for our first annual HIT YOUR STRIDE: Trail Skate Challenge Fundraiser! Whether you’re a seasoned skater or a beginner, this event is for you! All levels are welcome. Choose between a 5k, 10k, and half marathon skate, or skate all three distances. 

Transitioning to outdoor skating can seem daunting, but our friendly distance skate series is designed to help you push your limits, develop new skills, and build the endurance to skate longer distances. 

Location: Burke-Gilman Trail
→Parking on 40th & 52nd street (Metropolitan Market)
→0.6 skate to get to start point. (warm up)
→Starting point has 3 benches.

Challenge 1:  5K skate on Sunday, June 16 at 10:00am

Challenge 2:  5K & 10K skates on Sunday, July 21 at 9:00am
This skate occurs during the weekend of the Seattle Spicy Salmon Roll, making it a weekend full of skating and celebration!

Challenge 3: 5K, 10K and Half Marathon race on Sunday, August 4 at 9:00am (POSTPONED – Event to be rescheduled asap)

Challenge 4: 5K & 10K (Not for 1/2 Marathon) August 11 at 10:00am. (POSTPONED – Event to be rescheduled asap)

Final Challenge: 5K, 10K & 1/2 Marathon, Sunday, September 15, 10am  (RESCHEDULED DUE TO WEATHER AND SAFETY)

Final Challenge make-up date: 5K & 10K skate only, Sunday, September 22, 10am 

Final Challenge 2nd make-up date: 5K & 10K skate only, Sunday, September 29, 10am 

All challenges are Weather Permitting.
