Classes on both Saturday & Sunday, be sure to check the class grid on Friday to confirm what time the class you want to take is.
Outdoor classes
Trail Training Class tomorrow night!
Thursday, May 16th – 7pm at Log Boom Park!

This class is designed to teach trail etiquette, and how to skate for more power & efficiency on the trails.
How to join the class:
- Use the link to join our “SJ Outdoor Skate Classes!” WhatsApp Group.
- Send a message to confirm you’re coming to the class!
- We’ll share the class drop-in link allowing you to officially register for the class.
We also use the WhatsApp group to assist you with finding our location, or in the event of a change of weather.

skate tip of the week
Stay Hydrated!
As the outside temperatures increase, so does the sweat we produce. So make sure you’re staying hydrated, by drinking plenty of water before and after your skate sessions.
How dehydration affects your skating (from Johns Hopkins Medicine):
- Athletic performance. Water cushions the joints, and being dehydrated can affect your flexibility and speed.
- Endurance. Hydration is essential for proper muscle function (including the heart muscles), and it helps you avoid cramps.
- Breathing. When you inhale, you need body fluids to moisten the air so it’s easier to absorb oxygen through your lungs.
- Mood. Your brain needs water to work. Just as a drop in blood sugar can make a person “hangry,” dehydration can affect and concentration and cause headaches and irritability.

Tuesday, June 11, 5-7pm PST.
