Hello students and parents, 
I saw a meme last week that August is to summer what Sunday is to the weekend. And now it’s September….. while kids are returning to school, we are busy getting ready for the school year at Skate Journeys.

1.    We are closed this weekend for the holiday. We resume Sunday classes on Sept 10.

2.    Saturday classes resume Oct 7th.

3.    The Apprentice Program will occur this year in Oct/Nov/Dec with a certification in January. Typically, we offer it in Jan/Feb/March but it’s different this year! 

a.    Here are the details we can share with you now…with more to come:

i.    Dates: Sundays, both sessions (845am and 10am):
Oct 22 & 29, Nov 5 & 12, Dec 3 & 10, with a makeup class on Dec 17. The cert will be Jan 19 (evening) and in person 20/21.

ii.    The Apprentice program is open to everyone who is 12 and above. The Apprentice must turn 12 by June 1st, 2024. Also inviting all adults who are interested. Adults should be at the upper end of Level 3, while kids MUST be in Level 4 kids. 

iii.    The Apprentice program is required to become an instructor for Skate Journeys. The cost is $175. 

4.    There is no trails class this Saturday.
