Scholarship Program Initiative 

At Skate Journeys, we believe in breaking down barriers and empowering individuals to access the sport of inline and roller skating, regardless of financial constraints. That’s why we’re proud to offer our Scholarship Program Initiative, designed to ensure that no one has to decline skating opportunities due to economic limitations. 

The Scholarship Program Initiative is a testament to our commitment to equity and inclusivity. Whether it’s accessing educational resources, participating in life-enriching programs, or receiving crucial healthcare services, we understand that financial barriers should never hinder individuals seeking to improve their lives.

Through this initiative, eligible individuals can apply for fees to be waived for our Weekend Classes, Youth Summer Camps, Holiday Camps, and Instructor Apprentice Program. By supporting adults and youth skaters, we aim to provide equitable opportunities for all members of our community.

Who is Eligible for a Scholarship? Anyone in need of financial assistance is welcome to apply.

How Do I Apply for a Scholarship? Applying for a Scholarship is simple and confidential. Click the “Apply for Scholarship” button to submit your application through our Customer Portal. If you do not already have a Customer Account, you will be prompted to create one.

We assess each application with care and respect, ensuring that those who demonstrate financial need receive the support they require to fully participate in our programs. We ask that you have a specific program in mind when applying.

What Happens After I Apply?
Within 48 hours, our team will review your application and contact you with the results. You will receive an email from or team.

If approved, your fee request will be waived by either 50% or 100%.

Once approved, you and your family will be able to utilize the approved discount across various programs for the next 3 months or more, depending on when you apply within our quarter. We update scholarships every quarter (March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31) and require reapplication each year. A reminder will be sent 3 weeks in advance to contact us, assess your situation, and maintain your scholarship.
