Why take our classes? Skate Journeys offers high quality, low-ratio classes designed to teach anyone to skate. Our classes are taught by SkateIA Certified Instructors who teach using a methodology that is clear and effective. At LB&S we offer 4 levels of classes so whether you are a brand new skater, cautious skater or a self taught skater, we can teach you so YOU can expand your skating. We offer instruction through our weekend classes, summer camps, after school programs, workshops, outdoor fitness/trail skates and Skate PE. We currently do not offer private lessons. We offer separate adults and kids classes taught by our faculty of over 25 instructors.
FYI: Lynnwood Bowl & Skate offers group lessons each Sat/Sun at 11am, arrive early. Their classes are $20 each and include rink rental.
You must be at least 5 years of ago through 85…We teach to both inline and quad skaters. We teach you the techniques to build your confidence as well as your form—you can learn to stop safely anywhere! We do not currently have classes for kids 4 years old and younger, but Lynnwood Bowl & Skate offers classes to all ages!
Our students are invited to explore a wide range of skating styles including: Artistic, Freestyle Slalom, Trail Skating and Pair Skating. Camps for kids and adults are offered throughout the year. Our fleet of inline/Rollerblade skates and protective gear will get you started, or you can use your own.
