Hello Skaters!  2021 update!

We are working on our website and apologize for no updates or security issues. We are building offsite, a brand new website, so please know we are in action getting ready to expand our services as Covid-19 allows.  All updates for camps and classes will only be announced in the weekly newsletter, so sign up to receive all details.

Sign up for the newsletter: Click on the link for “New Students” tab, then “New Students Interest Form” to sign up for our newsletter. We do not sell our list and we send out one newsletter a week. And if you cannot find it, search clutter/junk for details.

In March 2021 we hope to return to outdoor classes, at Marymoor Park. They are weather dependent and it is likely only will occur on Sundays. Those classes will ONLY be announced in the newsletter. You will be advised how to register in the newsletter.

We are intending summer camps for 2021. We will be offering them the last two weeks of July and the first two weeks of August at Crossroads Park–outdoors. Only 25 kids per camp and students will be offered 2 camps maximum to ensure everyone gets to attend. These camps are open to full day only (9am-4pm) with early drop off and after care available. 4 hours of skating offered also we will set up field games, social time, board/card games, arts & crafts. July 19-23, 26-30 and August 2-6 and 9-13. Evergreen School is offering an inline camp half day by Skate Journeys, in Shoreline July 12-16.

Mission Statement: Teaching and transforming lives through inline and roller skating.

Skate Journeys offers high quality, low-ratio classes designed to teach anyone to skate. We offer 6 levels of classes so whether you are a brand new skater, cautious skater or a self taught skater we can teach you so YOU can expand your skating by signing up for any of our six levels of classes (Beginner 1, 2 & 3, Level 4, 5 & 6). We offer instruction through our weekend classes, summer camps, after school programs, workshops, outdoor fitness/trail skates and Skate PE. We offer separate adults and kids classes taught by our faculty of over 25 instructors.

Skate Journeys offers six levels of classes from beginning through advanced, for kids 5+ and adults of all ages, in both inline (Rollerblade) and quad (roller) skates. We teach you the techniques to build your confidence as well as your form—you can learn to stop safely anywhere! We also offer a 4 Year old-toddler class on Sunday mornings.

Our students are invited to explore a wide range of skating styles including:  Artistic, Freestyle Slalom, Trail Skating and Pair Skating. Camps for kids and adults are offered throughout the year. Our fleet of inline/Rollerblade skates and protective gear will get you started, or you can use your own.
