PFM Roller Derby is back hosting free community skate events in Seattle! 

Skaters enjoyed these events pre-Covid, so we’re super excited that the Community Fun Skates have returned. PFM will provide the space, snacks, tunes, and skates – YOU provide the smiles and laughter! This is a FREE event!

When: Sunday, August 25th, 2024: 2:00pm – 5:00pm.

Potential Fresh Meat (PFM) is a volunteer-run recreational roller derby league training program open to all women and non-binary folks 18 years and over, who are interested in learning and practicing the skills needed to play roller derby under the WFTDA ruleset and gender policy.

Skate Journeys is proud to partner with PFM Roller Derby, utilizing our instructor staff to assist with various event roles.

So, come skate with us!

All ages & abilities are welcome!
• Children under the age of 18 must have parental permission.
• *FREE Skate Rentals! *
• Sizes J9 to Adult 15 available
• You can bring your own skates too!

The Rules:
› Follow ALL directions
› Slow down when asked
› Skates stay on gym floor only
› If you fall, electronics may break
› No roughhousing
› Faster skaters to the outside and slower to the inside of the track
› Be mindful and respectful
› Help everyone have fun
› Have fun!
