PLEASE HELP US RAISE: $18,000 to help 1,200 + kids learn to skate!!
Schools are looking for our help to run skate programs, but they lack the funding. Skate Journeys is in a unique position to offer a ‘Learn to Skate’ program as part of School PE, so every kid can learn to skate. When kids learn together, new skills, kindness, and vulnerability arise, building community.
OUR GOAL: We want to raise $18,000 to run 4 ‘Learn to Skate’ PE programs at 4 schools in Lynnwood, Northshore, and Lake Washington school districts. This includes Title 1 schools that receive federal funding to help ensure that all students, particularly those from disadvantaged and/or low-income backgrounds, meet state academic standards.
Donate by Dec 31 to help us teach 1,200+ kids to skate. Your donation will go towards Instructors, gear, skates, and insurance. Thank you!
